Leadership relationship with Employee Satisfaction

Given the company is a business organization consisting of people, then the leader should be able to align individual needs with organizational needs based on human relationships. In line with that expected of a leader able to motivate and create a favorable social conditions of each employee so that employee satisfaction has implications for increasing employee productivity (Robbins, 2002: 181).

Behavior of superiors is also a major determinant of satisfaction. Generally, satisfaction can be increased, if the supervisor is friendly and understanding, offering praise for good performance, listen to employees, and showed a personal interest in them (Robbins, 2002: 181).
Participation in decision-making leadership, especially in democratic leadership will have an impact on improving relations with subordinate managers, raising morale and job satisfaction and reduce dependence on the leader (Supardi, et al, 2002: 76).
Thus it can be said of leadership is closely related to employee job satisfaction. Leadership is getting a positive response from the employees likely to increase employee job satisfaction, as if the opposite occurs.
